When does CBSE release the date sheet for board exams?
CBSE typically releases the date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in December, about 2–3 months before exams begin in February/March. The 2025–26 date sheet was released in December 2025.
When does CBSE release sample papers?
CBSE releases official Sample Question Papers (SQP) for all subjects in September–October each year, about 4–5 months before board exams. You can download them from cbse.gov.in or directly from ClearSteps Paper Bank.
When does CBSE declare board exam results?
CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 results are typically declared in May, about 6–8 weeks after the last exam. Results are available on cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in.
Has CBSE changed the Class 10 or 12 syllabus for 2025–26?
CBSE confirmed no major changes to the Class 10 and Class 12 syllabus for 2025–26. The syllabus remains largely the same as 2024–25 with minor chapter reorderings in a few subjects.
What are competency-based questions in CBSE?
