Section A: Reading (20 Marks)

Section B: Writing and Grammar
- Analytical paragraph: 120-150 words, formal tone, interpret all major data points with comparison
- Formal letter: always include Subject line, Dear Sir/Madam, and Yours faithfully
- Grammar editing: read the full paragraph once before attempting
Section C: Literature (40 Marks)
- Extract questions: identify the chapter and recall context
- Short answer: 2-3 sentences with specific detail from the text
- Long answer: 120-150 words with specific chapter details
- Poems: know central idea, one poetic device, one important stanza

Most Footprints questions come from: The Thief's Story, Bholi, The Making of a Scientist, The Necklace. These 4 stories appear most frequently in past 10 years. Prioritise these in revision.
