Map Work Tips for Full Marks
- ✓Always use an outline map of India (not a sketch from memory) for map work in the exam.
- ✓Use different symbols for cities (●), rivers (wavy lines), mountains (△), and capitals (★).
- ✓Label all features you mark — an unlabelled mark earns no credit.
- ✓Mark Andhra Pradesh and locate Amaravati (current capital) and Visakhapatnam clearly.
- ✓For river maps: show the direction of flow (from source to mouth) with an arrow.
- ✓Practise marking at least 10 points on a blank India map every day in the week before the exam.
