How to Get Your Admit Card — Step by Step
Admit card is issued to schools — not students directly
CBSE sends the Class 12 admit card to schools, not to individual students or parents. Your school's exam coordinator will receive and distribute them. Do not wait for an email or SMS from CBSE — go to your school.
Collect from your school before exam week
Schools typically distribute admit cards 1–2 weeks before the first exam date. Ask your class teacher or school office if you haven't received it 10 days before your first paper.
Verify all details immediately
Check: your full name (as per CBSE records), roll number, school name and code, date of birth, exam centre name and address, and list of subjects with exam dates. Any discrepancy must be reported before the exam begins.
Report errors to the school exam coordinator
If any detail is wrong — especially your name, subject list, or exam centre — inform your school immediately. The school will raise a correction request with the CBSE regional office. Corrections after the exam begin are not possible.
Keep the admit card safe until result declaration
You need the admit card not just for the exam but also to access your results on DigiLocker, for re-evaluation requests, and for college admissions. Keep the original safe even after the last exam.
